and this search that i'm on for some peace of mind
seems like i'm finding anything but

suffering for sanity with nothing to gain

meditations on a love supreme

and we think a similar thought before we blink

right where it all happens by instinct
because i've buried my actions is thought long enough
crying about how time's tough
and how everyday's so hard
'cause i seem to rush through the best parts
in a hurry to the finishing line
the winner who is standing in alone
creator of his own demise
and in his eyes
i can see that he realizes it couldn't be anyone's fault but his own
that's a choice we make
a journey we take to reach some point that's down the line
